Mark Rider Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 So I'm just playing with my alarm to get head round it have so far fitted bell box, front door contact and hall PIR. Question is when I go to set the alarm I walk to the panel in the hall I have to walk past the PIR. I go to set the alarm but can't as the PIR is active I have to wait 10 or so seconds for the PIR to deactivate then I can set it. Is that right ? I have read the instructions but can't see anywhere about it. Anyone any ideas the alarm works fine or once set the PIR will set the alarm off if moving in front of it and have set the final edit as the front door and that works fine. Any ideas ? Thanks Mark Quote

Mark Rider Posted September 5, 2017 Author Posted September 5, 2017 Didnt think so . Ar ok I have set the PIR as an intruder. Will try it as an entry route but will that delay the alarm on entry if it was a burglary Thanks Quote

Mark Rider Posted September 5, 2017 Author Posted September 5, 2017 Perfect thank you very much. Will give that a shot. Just adding sensors as I go and under stand what each item does. so getting there Thanks very much Quote

Mark Rider Posted September 5, 2017 Author Posted September 5, 2017 I didnt say it wasn't easy should take a day to do it in one go as the cabling is peace of cake but as you say whats point in doing the job twice may as well wait until I'm in the room that I'm doing then run the cable. Quote
