sixwheeledbeast Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 I suppose it helps if you know all the features to find the "glitches" then... Now you mention it I understand where you went wrong with your Duress. PA Alarm would be the correct output to use for a Duress, PA Silent would only trigger on a "silent" zone whereas PA Alarm is any Panic event including Duress, so that's another "glitch" that wasn't. 1 1 Quote

Ashton Posted October 26, 2017 Author Posted October 26, 2017 Well according to texe support any output type programmed as pa audible pa silent or duress would activate upon a duress code being entered so if your correct you could have saved me the half hour of my time speaking to Anthony and others at texecom trying to work it out Quote
sixwheeledbeast Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 The old Texe guys left what maybe 10 years ago now? Thinking about 2006 so I doubt there's a connection with Ricochet. Would it matter anyway? 1 minute ago, Ashton said: so if your correct you could have saved me the half hour of my time speaking to Anthony and others at texecom trying to work it out I could of. Yes. Ashton Posted October 26, 2017 Author Posted October 26, 2017 Not at all was just asking didn't know it was that long ago got to admit with regards to the duress though doesn't help if I am infact mis informed from tech support I'm obviously going to assume it's a glitch Quote
Ashton Posted October 26, 2017 Author Posted October 26, 2017 Duress users behave the same way as Standard users. However, Duress users will activate any outputs programmed as ‘Panic Alarm’ or ‘Duress’ whenever their code is entered. surely that would be silent or audible though ? Quote
sixwheeledbeast Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 I agree it doesn't help no. As I say I haven't called Technical in a long time. Any queries like that feel free to post on here. But do note there is only so much we can help with on the public forums. Quote

That's the user options, I realised in a latter post it was the programming of the output you had incorrect. Output or comms channel if EF should be PA Alarm and not PA Silent.
