Hi guys need some help . Urgently .

Recently had some work done in my house and the fuse spur for the alarm has been blowing every couple of day for passed week.

This Pir I’ve noticed has gone red also so was wondering if this could be the problem cause all the others have blue lights.

If this cable was broken it’s only 12volt anyway so didn’t think this could be the problem  the fuse in the spur was 13amps also , thought it should of been a 3 or 5 amp . Didn’t take the MCB out just blew the fuse . . Can anyone help me out . Many thanks guys ,

the easy solution is find a tame alarm co. local to you...

if you don't want to spend money, disconnect the alarm

The PIR going red is because it’s seen movement

those have a red LED in them , some have BLUE leds.

Contact a local alarm Co. for assistance

If your blowing 13A plug top fuses there is something seriously wrong on the mains side of the alarm (assuming only the alarm is connected to the spur).

I would suggest isolating it and powering the system down until tests can be made to the electrical connections or control panel.

Assuming spur is short distance from panel then they may have damaged cable coming out of the spur to panel

Picture of spur? Panel? Internal of panel?

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
