Hi All,

Needed a bit of advise. Had a new aluminium front door installed. The previous wooden door had a flush contact sensor. I've attached a photo. I needed a new sensor that would be on  the surface rather than flush. Not quite sure what to get. Originally it was a CQR MAXIMAL FLUSH CONTACT FC504 O.G 23MM. Can anyone point me in the right direction on what to replace it with?

Will this do the job?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Any type of contact could work If you can fit within the operational gap but the push in "pencil style" are normally the most aesthetic on alu. I keep a few GE ones handy (1078).

A picture of the door maybe handy if you need more advise on a surface fit.

Thanks for the response. I definitely think the flush ones are the way to go. Maybe it's time for a full install. The system is a bit dated anyhow. I think I need to get the professionals in.

Sorry If I am a bit late as I had new windows and doors installed. This was the perfect time to route the wires in and into the flush fit magnets.

Did they cut the wires when the door was installed? Could you get to the wire or have some one connect to that wire access with the new door?
