norman Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 The majority of bookies have bells only, hardly a good example of a company who takes security seriously. 1 hour ago, JonJR said: Monitoring is only £45 ish a quarter. Which is a lot less than ADT. Would recommend them. You're comparing apples with pears. Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

JonJR Posted August 2, 2018 Author Posted August 2, 2018 So guys, who do you recommend for alarm monitoring at £15 a month. We had a standard alarm and got all our stuff robbed in a burglary whilst the alarm went off. Any of you guys offer monitoring for £15 a month. Quote

JonJR Posted August 2, 2018 Author Posted August 2, 2018 Any of you guys be on the end of the speaker talking to us while we go downstairs at 2 in the morning, all for £15 a month????!!! Quote
JonJR Posted August 2, 2018 Author Posted August 2, 2018 Come on guys tell me how much ADT charge and convince me how I can’t afford it!!! What about Redcare, are they £15 a month to have someone reassure you at 2 am when the alarm goes off! Quote
sixwheeledbeast Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I wouldn't call that sort of thing monitoring... Monitoring has polling (well test calls on a digi). Quote
norman Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 @JonJR if you are happy with it and are aware of it's limitations then good for you I say, but this is nothing like the offerings of a proper company. Ref the repair I guess it's not under any sort of maintenance agreement that covers call outs? Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
JonJR Posted August 2, 2018 Author Posted August 2, 2018 And the average semi in Manchester can afford that? You guys may not like them, but I’ve used them for 8 years and they are great, alarm goes off and they are there talking to you, all for £15 a month. Alarm bell box goes off and your neighbors just get annoyed. Quote
norman Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I agree ref the nuisance but if you have it installed and maintained properly your neighbours won't know what your alarm sounds like. Does seem a bit scientology to me though... Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
