Kenco222 Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 Can anyone help? i changed the battery in my garage sensor and the system will not reset. i have both the user and engineer codes. keeps saying ’can’t set! Eng. anti 4814’ & ‘garage T!’ I thought there might have been an issue with the tamper resting, but I can hear the micro switch make, and even tried it by taping the micro switch close with the sensor cover removed. Frustrating!!! Quote
MrHappy Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 it requires resetting by your installer Quote Mr Veritas God
Kenco222 Posted September 26, 2018 Author Posted September 26, 2018 Really? i understand it can be reset by the use of the master code. Quote

Kenco222 Posted September 26, 2018 Author Posted September 26, 2018 I presume it is asking for the eng code as that is what has been set for a reset such as tamper. i feel the tamper is faulty Quote
