Guest Peter Harrison Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 WANTED I have a Concept 6 system since 1987 and has been perfect, never let us down. I have just replaced the back up battery and is the only money that has needed to be spent on the system. What I do need now is a replacement keypad as the original is breaking up. I have tried to find another one but have been told they are obsolete and need to bbuy another control box and keypad!! Can anyone advise me on where to get a replacement???
Monteey Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Fraid you got zero chance getting a new one, probably the only slight chance of obtaining one will be on ebay or even at a car boot sale. Guest RICHL Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 One battery since 1987? Hope you keep a fire blanket handy!
Deltaseven Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 We still have a few of these in the field. The weak points tend to be the keypad and the charging circuit - mainly the keypad, so you have almost no chance of getting hold of even a secnd hand keypad. Upgrade!! Get a shiny, new, more reliable, more flexible, better looking panel! D7
