housty Posted November 19, 2004 Author Posted November 19, 2004 Hi all I got the problem sorted a friends mate from NCS checked it out and i cant use the customers phone lines because its ISDN with routers and stuff and i need a PTSN line The customer wasn't best pleased when i told him out of his 50 lines or so i couldn't use one. Guest Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 Glad you got it sorted, I know this is of no use to you now but... It doesn't matter if all the external lines are ISDN, if there is a PBX installed with an analogue extension card, (which there generally is for faxes etc), then the SD1 can go on one of these extensions and dial through the PBX. Not the best solution as it won't work in a powercut but it does work. I still think you had something connected wrong somewhere, anyway, who cares now.
