Just wondering: Anyone using them or got any views on them from past experience ?

Hey buddy: Not sure about that one, apparently been around a long time. RS sell them for pretty hefty prices but no reviews.

Been using an AVO 8037 for years but it's getting on a bit like me & apparently phased out now so if it stops working then no parts available.

An Isotech 99iii which seems to do all the AVO does and more, came up for silly money. I was just wondering if anyone had an opinion on them, probably a bit late to ask once I'd bought it but hey ho. Not that sure about modern Fluke meters, always seems to be loads selling used on eBay.

My Fluke was stolen a few years ago, ever since Ive only ever purchased cheap meters. We calibrate them ourselves

Yeah I know that feeling Peter, I had my window put through when on site a few years back. My Fluke & a few other bits went, the Fluke was the item most missed.

I was working in a pub (full of dole type psseads drinking in the middle of the afternoon), door contact was high res but I had an idea it was more than one door in series with a jb somewhere, this was before the days of EOL. Meter on the panel attached to the door contact cable, I went to prop a fire door open, when I came back meter was gone, nobody saw a thing. Ironically I nearly got my old meter out when I opened the back of the van, but I thought nah I would rather use my nice one.
