Unfortunately I'm using my tablet at the moment so can't open the picture file. Edited June 4, 2019 by Specialist Quote Customers Love us, Intruders Hate us.

Yes but you use the word modern , give the modern tech back and buy something older ? Point is better to update , it's only natural you humans try and save money like us aliens Quote
jezthomp Posted June 5, 2019 Author Posted June 5, 2019 Urm yeah i would happily replace it with something newer, but after moving house don't have endless cash so probably something we'd do further down the line, will see what the engineer says on Thursday. Quote
Specialist Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 (edited) Guys am I missing something here ?. The OP came here for help and was given it, he took the advice to call the Installer to look at the system. Why the sudden interrogation about what technology he uses to access the forum ?, What difference does it make to anything and more to the point, what business is it of ours ?. He has an older alarm that for whatever reason, needs to be kept running if possible. Personally I don't care what technology he uses to access the forum or why he needs to keep the system running, it's not my business. To me this doesn't do that, it goes the opposite way. Quote Customers Love us, Intruders Hate us.
