Leckybill
Hi There Can anyone tell me how to turn off the external sounders (sab) On part set for night time use , I can’t seem to find it in the set up instructions, had this option on our previous Veritas 8 system. My new system is the Texecom Elite 24 thanks Bill
sixwheeledbeast
That's not an out of the box option on a Premier. It's not something that you would normally do. You would need to use custom outputs to do custom things. Something like have a stage for Bell SAB and a Inverted stage for Part armed. Alternatively if it's concern for waking the neighbours in the night you can set the part set bell delay timer to whatever time you feel. Leckybill
Thanks for your help I’ll have a look at that, yes it’s about not disturbing the neighbours, I’ve put a small toggle switch on the bell output until I can resolve the issue. Cheers Bill.

sixwheeledbeast
Toggle switch like that is far from ideal. If it fails, you forget to switch it or it is found in a break in, your alarm is useless. The design behind a self activating bell is that everything is contained within it and only controlled by the panel so they are harder to defeat in a break in. I would suggest a small part set bell delay is the most appropriate.
james.wilson
Could you use an intruder output with a 15 min confirm timer and then disable comms in part set. Afraid I don't know the panel at all Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. sixwheeledbeast
That is another way but would require a little more setup over what I posted in post2 you would need adjust pulse timers then. Also have the issue of the bell not triggering on a tamper if you use "intruder".

james.wilson
Because if comms are enabled for part set may as well use the bell output Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
