Good while ago but I recall a job where install lad purposely fitted panel TS700 IIRC at high level in the warehouse because the service lad that was from that area was a lazy feck...

DD will be removing tat however by the time it comes off the wall its had 20yrs of sunshine, rain & birdshit on the plastics...

Yep it's sadly rare to remove anything that I don't feel belongs in the bin with a few kicks for good measure... Even inside stuff is usually yellowed or covered in paint :(

Or sometimes not even that old in the first place and so not that collectible.

 

In fact I think it's fair to say I see the most interesting older alarm stuff when I'm on the ambo!

This particular box cover was in pristine condition, after the owner cleaned out the cobwebs and washed it.

 

Interestingly, a single housefly flew out when first opened; it must have been attracted by the heat, doesn't say much for the IP rating though.

IIRC the IP rating refers to the electronics ?

 

the E (Economy version) didn't have has rubber gasket seal on the internal plastic cover
