Andrew Averill Posted February 13, 2020 Author Posted February 13, 2020 If I can get only a “okish” system to install myself I would rather get the dogs by professional installer. If that’s the case I need to know what to have not what someone wants to sell me because they get a better deal from the wholesaler. Suggestions welcome.. Quote

There's not great deal of choice in the market place for alarm controls- Texecom, Pyronix, Honeywell Galaxy, Eaton ,HKC ? Will all be ballpark the same sort of money what you want or whats on been offered at discount doesn't really matter as an installer whats 100's / 1000's of the same kit.... 1 Quote Mr Veritas God
datadiffusion Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 OK so it's iD (on Risco??) OP are you happy to open up controls and well given there are dangers e.g. mains electricity? How many wires do you have coming out of the iD line is what's of interest... Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

A wireless system is probably the best way to go with all the bells and whistles. Can anyone recommend a solid system? Many thanks in anticipation. As said before by yourself that's your best option going wireless unless you can rewire easily , try and keep the bell wire and keypad wire where possible Quote
james.wilson Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 No good for DIY but a hkc installer would upgrade to hkc Id addressable Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
