Allso Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 A proper "Hello" to you all. I've already "met "many of the regulars, so to speak, in the various threads I've started or contributed to. I'm not an installer, but had to get interested in alarms etc following some untoward incidents in the neighbourhood! This forum has provided a huge amount of useful information for me. My work is scientific/technical, so I haven't had that much trouble understanding what's being discussed. Like any industry, it seems that learning the jargon is half the battle! As an end-user, I have found that my opinions on some topics often differ markedly from those of the installers, but one of the best things about this forum is that there seems to be room for all opinions. One thing that interests me is whether many of you regulars (installers) have actually met in person, or whether you "know" each other via the forum contributions alone. Bye, Allso

Guest Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I think he is trying to say most have never met...
