Labelling Patch Panels

i need to meet with a IT guy next week to work out what ports are for security and label them.

 

is there a labeller which anyone can recommend for patch panels, I’m not convinced a standard dymo will cut it

Ideally security shouldn't be unless you mean IP stuff then it's own switch marked as such

Usual protocol would be like any distribution system, numbered references for ports and/or cables and then a separate schedule.

For security reasons this separate paper/spreadsheet schedule would only be available for the people that need it.
