norman Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Me neither, however it's through mini's I met the Mrs. Her sister had a convertible that her boyfriend (a friend of mine and now husband) made from scratch and I rewired it and first met the wife over a brew and ham sarnie and she never looked back. We also had it for 9 months whilst they travelled around the world back in the 90's. The mini was proper mint and they used to go to shows in it and won a few trophy's. An uncle bought a new 1275GT back in the day which was nice but I still don't like them Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
MrHappy Posted April 19, 2020 Author Posted April 19, 2020 I always viewed mini's as horrid death traps, Quote Mr Veritas God

PeterJames Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Ive had a few minis including one with a 1360 engine that went like stink, they held the road like nothing else but I couldnt see how you would survive a proper accident in one Quote
james.wilson Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Old man used to rally them with his dad, he was from Cumbria. Bought my sister one even tho I said it was a bad idea due to what I'd walked away from in newish cars. Had a smack nothing like my sort of scale, has plates in her arm was lucky too looking at it after, but did it handle for a little thing Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
