Lak Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 Hi, I have recently cancelled subscription to ADT, now my pm360r alarm keypad beeps constantly and has an orange warning triangle and troubleshooting error of plnk communication error. does anyone know how to permanently clear this or just stop the beeping? I still need use of the alarm but stopping the beeping would be great. thanks Quote

sixwheeledbeast Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 Your unlikely able to fix it yourself. The comms module will need disabling in the engineers menu. You either need to get ADT to remove it or find an engineer that works on Visonic to remove it. Bear in mind support for ADT Visonic maybe limited when it comes to parts, ADT models are not compatible with standard Visonic if you need replacements. Quote

You mentioned defaulting, so that can be done without the code? Could I do that or need to call professional in? Quote

ADT don't lock there panels , or I haven't seen they do , so of you can work it out then yes you can default And then take 6months- a year getting it back to how it should work Shouldn't matter if security isn't that important Quote

If it goes wrong you're not covered, ADT generally dont fit external sounders so if you have a burglary, no one will hear it. Quote
