MrHappy Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 TADB is easy.... What's hard is trying to think why he wants to keep an optima +2 2 Quote Mr Veritas God
sixwheeledbeast Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 Well it's currently got +ve going into the bell -ve and the tamper linked out so it's a bit of a mess and no guarantees it's going to work properly. It also looks like a 25+ year old optima that would have been worth upgrading at the same time.... T tamp, A -ve, D +ve, B trig. Quote
Markgally Posted October 20, 2020 Author Posted October 20, 2020 Hi I want to keep the optima 2 because it still works ok Quote
Markgally Posted October 20, 2020 Author Posted October 20, 2020 The wires in the control panel are wired for the old bell box which still works but the cover is broken. That’s the only reason I want to change it. Quote
sixwheeledbeast Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 It must be lucky/well looked after... Been a good while since I've seen one without black burning around the regulator, have the correct aux voltages and capable of charging the battery at a decent rate. Quote
Markgally Posted October 21, 2020 Author Posted October 21, 2020 Yes I changed the battery about 2 years ago. Quote
