Normally I quote exactly what they specify and then when I get the tender and get in front of the client I change it for what they need. I have several architects that specify us as their preferred specialist because we dont make them look like ducks Quote
PeterJames Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 That said the dreaded Grade 3 for jobs that dont require G3 is a bloody nightmare to explain to some people. Insurance brokers are the worse, followed by customers who think that highly sensitive detectors and door contacts will be fine in their dusty old plastic factory with doors that blow open in a gentle breeze. 1 Quote

Dude as Norman But non spec means you still spec it and tell me how it is , designed because of aesthetics more likely , you need to go look how to put contacts on either visible and hidden if possible and spec it Quote
