ADAM - try setting the system (Youll have to keep still or go to an unprotected area) and seeing if the bleep stops then.

Yep - thats what I thought as most service timers only bleep when the system is unset.

Do what DNS and Pete have just suggested, one of those should give us more of a clue. Should silence it in the users programming mode I think.
