Tools for the trade

I tend to have two distinct areas of tools in my box, one which are kept in A1 condition and only ever used for their designed purpose, ie cutters descent terminal screwdriver etc. This area covers 80% of my tools.

However i do find it handy to keep an old screwdriver or two in the box that you dont mind using as a mini bolster/chisel on the odd occasion. Nothing worse than trying to do a job when youve got to chase a cable two inches over because the plasterers havent put the cable in the right place. Using a chisel or a bolster would be liking taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut, but the old trusty blunt slotted screwdriver does the job ideal. Plus this area of tools is not such a loss when i leave it on site after leaving it on top of that cable tray etc
