Kernal Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Hi I have a Risco Agility 3 alarm. This works well. But i have a I/O expander that is connected to the alarm that works very badly. I want to get a output on the relay when i arm the system. This works mostly but then suddenly i get no output. And sometime then i disarm the relay drops and then suddenly it closes again. The output is configured as latched output. As you can see this can not bee used for anything. I have had the I/O for two years and it has never worked well. The support for the alarm in my country says they have heard this before and they can not help me. So my question is. Is there somebody in this forum that has a solution on this problem ? Or have a solution on how i can get a output in a over way. I have heard about risco home gateway but i can not find any information if this can be used to get a signal when alarm is armed. Somebody who knows ? Best regards Quote

Kernal Posted September 25, 2021 Author Posted September 25, 2021 No i am not. But it is the same problem with the transistor output. It was new then i installed it and has newer worked. Inside Agility configuration software i can see the output being set as it should but not always in the i/O expander. I wonder if x10 output behavs the same way. But i don't know how to connect something to this so i could try. Quote
james.wilson Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 I don't use risco but I've never known an output be flakey like that. I'd assume it's a duff io card Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
