pewe Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 We inherited a Texecom Premier Elite 48 W Live alarm system when we bought our current house a few months ago. We were left no instructions or manuals and don't know who installed it. It has never worked and just displays a message ' System Alerts' and then when we enter the code we were given the message reads ' You need a user to enable access'. We tried Texecom who refused to help suggesting we contact one of their installers. We have emailed tow installers and had no replies. So before we confine the system to the bin, can anyone here assist with information about how we reset the system and get it working. Here's hoping Quote

sixwheeledbeast Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 It it's likely working and it just needs setting up for you. Best to persist with finding a Texecom installer really. Sounds like you are entering the engineers code not the user code., if your getting that message. Quote

james.wilson Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 I'd continue though as what you have inherited is decent. It's a prosumer type system and there is plenty that can work on it.
