Guest absvicandmark Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 I have a Aritech ATS panel installed in a pharmacy. No DGPs,1 x RAS and 7 Circuits. The system has been uploaded via Titan to our CS. System has been installed for about 6 months but for the last 3 weeks the display shows Fail To Report (FTC) and the fault light comes on intermittently and a beeping noise from the RAS (Keypad). On my last visit I checked the BT line connected to it and the line was showing 0V. I found an old system that had been ripped out was still connected to the line. I disconnected this and the BT line went up to 11V or below. I contacted BT which said there was a fault on the line and they would send an eng out to repair. Today, I had a phone call from site from the BT eng and he said he found no problem and the original diagnostic was incorrect from them. I revisited site and the BT line was now showing 50V - all ok. However the ATS panel was still showing FTC and fault and beeping. No matter if I presented the fob to the system 3 times ,4 times etc the beeping would continue. As I was talking to my CS with regards to connecting to the system via Titan the fault light cleared and the display went back to day mode. The beeping continued however and no matter what I done it wouldnt stop beeping. I tried Eng Reset, presenting the fobs but wouldnt shut up. CS connected OK via Titan with the system but it still beeped. CS said that the comms was programmed wrong and that the zones were programmed to signal to 4 Cs`s. We only use 1 so he reprog this and uploaded to system. However the fault light came on & off again occassionally as I was talking to him via my mobile still. He told me to try my fob again to turn off the beeping and for some reason, this time it stopped it. At this time, I left the site and told the customer to let us know if it does it again. I know its going to come back in so where do I go from here? I tried Aritech Support but if you regulary use Aritech you would know you got more chance winning the lottery than getting through these days! Any Ideas?

FTC (Fail To Communicate) means the receiver is not kissing off. You answered your own problem with the ARC accounts 2-4 being selected. Re-program with a primary ARC account and make sure you have no noise on the line such as ADSL.Jef Customers!
