sixwheeledbeast Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 I have said before it doesn't surprise me. There are currently 666 records on NVD related to Hikvision, most of these will be historical or duplicates for different products but how many DVR/NVR/IPC's do people go back to and update or replace? Every patch if you look back just seem like a reactive quick fix, some not so quick... It maybe better than DIY junk that's exploitable OOTB but they are suppose to be the market leader... cheap sells... Quote

james.wilson Posted August 24, 2022 Author Posted August 24, 2022 Anything that is externally accessible can be hacked. Most vcrs in the day had 232 ports on them with no security at all But now with a poorly secured system patterns can be viewed ie when your out always, see a person's routine without parking outside etc etc Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
