Mejasper Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 Hi there, Can someone talk me through the process of powering down and decommissioning our Risco Agility 3 alarm? I think I have the engineers code if that helps. many thanks Ian Quote
PeterJames Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 Put it in engineers and then get the ladders out, and put your ear defenders on remove bell and dis the battery. this will be noisy and the strobe has high volts. Then down power the panel and remove the rest Quote
james.wilson Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 Also we wont go into detail on how to kill a security system you could be prepping for a burglary Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

I keen to replace with a DIY system to save on the increasing yearly maintenance costs and hoping to be able to decom the system by myself. is there a market for 2nd hand agility 3 systems? Quote
sixwheeledbeast Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 One major difference between a proper system and a DIY system is there is no easy way to defeat them or decommission without making a racket... There is a second hand market for most things. I would suggest you reconsider carefully, removing a working system to replace for DIY is false economy. Quote

The agility is a diy system? Not even engineers can get around a bell tamper, the bell is made so that it cannot be compromised without bringing attention to itself. The problem with not having a service contract is you have no one to call at silly o clock in the morning, when the sounders going and the panel is not responding Quote
