binney Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Hi, 8 years ago I installed a Honeywell Galaxy G2-20 (including a RIO and a couple of wireless PIRs) and have enjoyed faultless service from it until recently. I now regularly (3 or 4 times a day) get an RF Jam error. Any ideas what the cause could be and what I can do about it? I've read the manual and other than configuring the 'stop set' to allow you to set the alarm with the fault condition unacknowledged I can't see any settings which might help Thanks in advance, Binney Quote

Anything wireless ? You could try moving the rf module However what is the exact jam error? Quote
james.wilson Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 The wireless airspace is ever changing. Its telling you it has detected something that may jam a detector. Probably some cheap and nasty rf thing nearby unless you have added something yourself. Modern RF gear will channel hop when it detects this, i dont think the honeywell rf can do this.
