Hi, first time posting here and a complete novice in the alarm department. We have a Honeywell system for the house which was installed in 2016. Recently we had issuing setting it which lead me to discover the main panel battery needed replacing (error on my part for the lack of servicing). I've sourced the right battery and replaced whereby the outdoor bell went off and after putting the new battery in and the power back on the alarm went off however, the keypad downstairs is blank but had the green power light on. Any suggestions in what this could mean?

Is it flashing starts ? Perhaps you connected battery wrong way round at first ?

 

I would disconnect battery and the mains , then reconnect mains and battery see what happens
