Naeem ahmed Posted May 9, 2023 Author Posted May 9, 2023 Hi yes on the bell the plug is not connected For the cover so the bell does not ring when you open it Quote
Naeem ahmed Posted May 9, 2023 Author Posted May 9, 2023 Is that why the bell does not ring when alarm is activated Kind regards Naeem Quote
MrHappy Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 You need to have the switch closed for the bell to operate correctly. (or link it with a jumper on the pcb) Quote Mr Veritas God
Naeem ahmed Posted May 9, 2023 Author Posted May 9, 2023 Hi thanks for getting back to me where do I place the jumper on the bell PCB please as I can't see a option to disable the tamper Kind regards Naeem Just now, Naeem ahmed said: Hi thanks for getting back to me where do I place the jumper on the bell PCB please as I can't see a option to disable the tamper Kind regards Naeem Quote
james.wilson Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 That NO isn't a relay is it on the panel? Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
Naeem ahmed Posted May 9, 2023 Author Posted May 9, 2023 Hi thanks for getting back yes it's on the panel Quote
al-yeti Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 1 hour ago, Naeem ahmed said: Hi thanks for getting back yes it's on the panel James is pointing out that your connecting to a relay which unless wired correctly will do nothing Assuming the relay is triggered on alarm the no can stay in the bell trigger , but the c (common needs to connect to negative or minus or -ve ) that way when the alarm triggers it will connect the bell trigger to the negative it requires to ring it Strobe I am not sure , the other outputs are programmable perhaps and you need to look at menus what they can do Quote
al-yeti Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 Actually opto relays , I couldn't be bothered to see what and how they work in the panel other than that optical relays work similar Quote
