Sterling 10 LCD Keypad:

Anyone know how to edit the day mode text that appears in the LCD screen when alarm not set.

I think you need to be in Engineer Mode to change display text....

You can only change user names with user code

There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.

I couldn't find anything in user manual. I understand from other postings that the Sterling is not highly rated for ease of use! As a novice end user should I leave well alone (I don't know how to get into engineers mode for a start), or is this easy?

sorry, my mistake. you can only change user text from the user functions. you will need to get in engineers mode to change it.

If you don't know......ask.
