Currently have wired PIR sensors and changing over to pet friendly ones.

Current one has 6 wires - power (2), alarm (2) and tamper (2)

New sensor only has - power (2), alarm (2) - no tamper terminals

Can I simply ignore the current tamper wires or should they joined to complete a circuit or remove from alarm panel end?

Advice would be very helpful and ppreciated.

Expensive tat?

Never seen them before and there is no image I can find from a quick search of the internals. Doubt they conform to BS EN.

No PIR is truly pet "immune", it also relies on the system design being able to take these replacements. Many would recommend the system should be redesigned to perimeter to suit your pets.

In some instances they can work, I only rate Bosch for pet friendly.

I'd advise you speak to an installer to look at the system, if you don't want the hassle of false alarms.
