Grego Posted September 29, 2023 Posted September 29, 2023 Installing a new FX100+ with a MK7 proxpad, and have come across the same issue outlined in this POST which describes... I enter the engineer code and press ESC and it checks for tampers and comes up with 1 Mod tamper which when viewed is Keypad 011. I followed the suggestion of holding down the tamper button and trying to exit engineer mode, but the same fault remains? Could this be a faulty keypad? The keypad is set to ID 0 not sure if that matters in this case? Quote

I am seeing the following error codes on the keypad... Missing Key 11 Missing Max 11 I've read a few posts in here and have come up empty. My first attempt at a prox tag... so anything to point me in the right direction appreciated. Quote
james.wilson Posted September 29, 2023 Posted September 29, 2023 If its addressed as 0 then it's not device 11 Have you changed the address while the keypad is powered up? Try rebooting the panel it will then only connect to devices that are online Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

I will reboot the panel later today and see what happens. Quote

I'll need to work out how to remove it? Quote
Grego Posted September 30, 2023 Author Posted September 30, 2023 End up going into engineer mode and then exited which checks the tampers and modules, it found the missing keypad and prompted me to press * to remove the two associated items. Looks good now, no issues. Quote
GalaxyGuy Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 On the Flex, you can also use menu 72 (auto detect) to find and delete devices from the bus. Also remember to avoid just pulling power on the Flex. You should always use menu 51.17.Shutdown and wait until the message 'safe to power off' appears. Quote
