How on earth do you fix to bricking Clading ?

I have bodged an ewd on with red plugs + 2 x 1.5" by 8's

The brick appear to be a tile in disgust & won't drill with new ads but on rotary only.

Drilling with hammer makes the mortar fall out breaks the tile/ brick

Masonry on rotary until it stops (maybe an inch or two) then HSS?

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
