wpqs Posted Monday at 11:17 Posted Monday at 11:17 (edited) The alarm system is a Honeywell Galaxy Dimension 48. It has three RIO boxes connected to 23 sensors, 16 sensors, and 8 sensors - total 47. The sensors and the cables to the RIO boxes have been installed and connected. What is a reasonable amount of time for an experienced engineer to setup/commission the system using the laptop application? I would have thought 2-3 hours. Is that reasonable? Why might it take much longer? Edited Monday at 11:24 by wpqs clarification Quote

Laptop will take longer lol galaxy RSS is rubbish Within half the day it would be done provided it's not some mad school or busy building you can't fully test depending on how detailed you want to be Quote

PeterJames Posted Monday at 13:53 Posted Monday at 13:53 Probably take 3/4 hour to walk test 47 sensors @ 1 per minute. I would go with Imran on half a day but not all engineers work at the same speed some will be all day at it. Quote
