I moved into a house some months ago and it has an ADT alarm system in place. I was left the arm and disarm code and that was all I have.

Via google I established it was a Visionic PG2 Powermaster 360R. In my ignorance in trying to add key fobs and play around with system settings I followed advice online that i thought would reset the 'Installer' and 'Master Installer' codes, but all it has done is unregistered all the sensors in the house thus leaving the device useless.

I understand it is still quite an expensive piece of kit if not a lil old. I just want to be able to get access to installer mode so at the very least i can re register the original devices.

I understand there may be sensitivities about openly discuss this but if someone knows the answer id be very grateful to speak in private and can verify who i am etc.

Many thanks

If you unregistered all the devices you must have got into installer mode

Why not try factory codes now?

This forum doesn't allow giving out of default methods and codes and so on

It was expensive but it was always one way wireless tat. If you have defaulted the panel completely (and it sounds like you have) then the factory engineer code will work. You just need to reprogram it now.

Oh dear, the internet is an oracle of knowledge but sometimes the internet takes people down a path that leads to a much bigger problem than the original. Do someone a favour and go back to wherever it was that advised you to default the user and installer codes and let people know it may not work out as desired, it may just stop someone else having the same problem as you now find yourself in.

If the default installer code is not working its probably a different ADT own default installer code, all you can do now is call ADT and take out a contract, or swap it for something that you have control over.

Not my system of choice but used a good few over the years they're functional.

Powermaster is all 2 way, not the same as the discontinued Powermax.

I believed ADT had custom firmware after they took on Visonic, so doesn't default to the off the shelf codes.

If that's the case looks like you'll need ADT to reinstall everything, expensive mistake following random stuff online...

You can enroll/delete keyfobs from the master user menu it's not an engineer/installer only function.
