Guest jerrycarrj Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 I have a problem i cant solve with a galant panel, a customer requests that a seperate pir (GJD) be located on perimiter of his property, the funtion of this is to alert staff that customers have entered his premises, (wood yard) The pir is to be set on chime only and to activate internal alarm/speaker plus strobe on internal and external sirens. Is this possible i dont think so, the customer has been sold the alarm on this basis. Thanks for any feedback jerry
Guest Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Do u have any output that could be programmed as "follow keypad" or "chime" or something??
Guest RICHL Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Yes its possible, you can either wire it to an alarm zone programmed as chime and monitor (not sure of the terminology with your panel though), or by using a relay to switch power to one or more buzzers or strobes.
Nova-Security Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Could programme zone as 13-Link and link it to a output. www.nova-security.co.uk www.nsiapproved.co.uk No PMs please unless i know you or you are using this board with your proper name.
