Service Engineer
I agree with Ian, from £6.50ph and upwards, the average fully trained installer would be looking at around £18K per annum in the west midlands but that varies dependant upon location. ........................................................ whistle
When i started on install back in the good old days when 9100s were the dogs b***ks and we always fitted scantric 9210 with c-type boxes. I was on a YTS and got £0.70 an hour for going out with another yts on our own every day installing in houses... I MUST HAVE BEEN MAD. At the end of the day we took the van back to the office and got bus home..
breff
Double the rate quoted by Dave and you've got the amount a good experienced engineer can earn in London/South East. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
C.S TEK.
I agree with Breff, Its not even worth getting out of bed for £6.50 ph. That is starting rate at Mcdonalds in Gatwick/Crawley area!!
