Guest Jason Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 Hi I have an //.National Installer.// Accord XPC alarm. It is a bell only system not a monitored. My problem is, on installation the engineer entered my mobile phone number, so on activation it would call me. I was recently made redundant and returned my mobile to my ex employer. Now I need to either disable this function completey or re enter my new mobile number. Please help. jasonrudkin@msn.com
morph Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 Call the engineer out as it is a function in the engineers menu.
norman Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 If you could put it off until your inspection is due he should programme it out FOC. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
morph Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 on installation the engineer entered my mobile phone number, would //.National Installer.// have done this? Sounds like an ebay special
norman Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 Mmm, probably not. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
Guest Jason Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 would //.National Installer.// have done this? Sounds like an ebay special 39088[/snapback] Did I say //.National Installer.// installed it? It was supplied by a local dealer. Who has now ceased trading. And yes the engineer entered my mobile number into the alarm system to call me when activated.

norman Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Get out the Yellow pages, A competent engineer will be able to gain access to the panel. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
Guest Guest Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Post here what part of the world you are in and one of the engineers will be able to assist you further.
