Guest aechlin Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Hi there, I have a DCI lead, had it linked to the PC once just over two weeks ago. Worked fine - as you would expect. However, now when I establish the link, I get an error which says 'Call Back Request Failed'. I have it linked to my TS790+ and using Downloader software. Please can anyone help me here. Whats this Call back all about and is it a setting not done in Eng option 3 Modem Options? Kind Regards Alistair
Brian c Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Sorry, I don't know for sure. However it sounds like your PC software settings are wrongly configured. The software is trying to dial the panel and wait for a call back. I assume you need to set it up for 'direct connection' or similar option. If you don't know......ask.

I think maybe the sequence of connection to the PC and resetting the modem from the RKP needs further investigation. I'll have another tinker with it me thinks. Guest aechlin Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Got it!!! Had to set First Dial Duration in Downloader software to 5 rings and reset the digicom - eng menu 3, C modem options then 0. Away it went. Alistair
