mikeald Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 hi all, i did a panel change today, replaced an ade ultimate with a ts690id panel, all went sweet as a nut. Then once i had finished the customer told me that the system needs to be split into two areas. i.e a cleaners code. I was amazed to find out that this panel can not be split into areas! Then i found out that the 3g stu that was already on site was working in reverse, so i thought to myself, no problem i will sim ply invert the polarity of the o/p's on panel. But you cant do it! Am I missing something here or am i correct in the above? I just find it hard to believe that these simple things cant be done! will a ts 900 solve my problems? mike Intruder & Fire Member
norman Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 It's a stripped down resi panel. stick with the 790, 900's No chip blower? Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
Guest IM_Alarms Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 option 19 of configuration is invert digi outputs and you can use shunt code to knock out an area for the cleaners

Monteey Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 what do you use Monteey? Blimey you've obviously not seen any of my posts getting into arguements with the Texecom haters. We use Texecom Premiers, superb panel, blows Menvier away Mark Hawks Ex BT Openreach Field Service Now Self employed telecom and data engineer www.mphtelecom.co.uk Also back doing sub contract work in the security industry. sparky83 Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 I would put in a Premier 48, capable of splitting into 4 areas and put an ID expansion module in - job done and its sexy! Trade Member
Guest IM_Alarms Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Looks like I'd better get a Premier to play with then! I hear Garry gives stuff away for free if you ask nicely! XXX
breff Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 The Premier is the dogs gonads The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
