antinode Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Can you do this on a 16+? The Texecom Veritas we had used to let me have different zone types for full and part set. The reason I'm asking is because we use the back and front doors as often as each other, so there are two keypads. I want to program the full set for the front door (front door entry/exit, back door and kitchen PIR as Immediate) and the part set for the back door (back door as entry/exit, kitchen PIR as entry and front door as Immediate) so I don't have to compromise on protection. I've had a look through the manual and the panel itself but I can't see anything that looks like it would do that. Any ideas? Thanks. Trade Member
Guest Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 you have to prog the zones into diff' areas eg.part 1 2 or 3
antinode Posted March 31, 2005 Author Posted March 31, 2005 Thanks for the reply. How do I go about doin that? I noticed when I was programming it that it says "P1" on the right hand side of all the zone types in the Zones menu. Does it have something to do with that? I'm guessing that you change it to P1, 2 or 3 depending on which Part set you want that zone to be included in? Trade Member
Nova-Security Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 # key alters p1, p2 etc when in zone programming. you will have to remember if you want to use one of the partsets in a few more keypresses to set the system like code B 1 ent. www.nova-security.co.uk www.nsiapproved.co.uk No PMs please unless i know you or you are using this board with your proper name.
logical Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 set your upstairs,or any areas you want unalarmed atnight(like toilet bedroom etc) as part 3-code +b will then automatically start setting the other areas(1+2) after about 30 secs-no need for extra key pressesentry sensor at the bottom of the stiars will need setting accordingly Trade Member
