morph Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Guys, Edward is perfectly entitled to advertise for subcontractors on the WWW including this site, yes there may be issues that are not clear and not fully understood, but if we took everthing on face value then we would never get on in life. If Edward was to employ an unsuitable company to carry out works for him then that would be an issue that is damaging to both his and his companies reputation, then that is entirely his problem. If we were all to inform opinions on the posts made by members on these forums without actually getting the full facts, then some members will look like complete idiots but generally we know that to be different. Brian is right though, in that we should all be free to discuss the issue of CCTV in Schools etc, but personally this should be done without associating it with any company or individual and for that reason I have started a post in the CCTV Section in order that this may be continued. If there are concerns or objections as to a post for engineers then these should be emailed or pm'd to a moderator not debated within that companies request, accordingly this toipic is now closed and any future discussion should take place afording the companies annominity in the matter, as to make comment and refference in the matter could be taken as slanderous and possibly leaving the member concerned open to legal action. Colin.
