Guest Peg Posted September 25, 2003 Posted September 25, 2003 I am not so much looking for an intruder alert system, more a HELP alert system. I have had a quick look around the web and came across this site so I would expect as its a busy forum you guys will be up with the latest technology and prices. Initially Needing autodial control panel that will alert a selection of numbers if a Pendant type alert switch is actioned. Basically its for my Mums house , shes pushing 70 and its mainly for peace of mind , thankfully everything has been fine so far ............... Ideally providing a remote form of alerting the family should God forbid something happen and she cant make it to the phone. Ok I think there was a power max system that sounded good and reasonable at £110 for panel then £33 for either pendant or Watch that can alert ... although may struggle to find that site again as Ive looked at so many in the last hour . It looked good quality and was very expandable - based around x10 technology? I would really appreciate any other suggestions as to particular panels / alert combinations , prices comparison sites , recommendations etc and of course website links that thy could be purchased from would be great I do hope some of you can take the time out to throw me a few ideas PAUL - UK
Guest dale Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 I built something similar to what you are on about using a Veritas alarm system and pull cords (as the old people are likely to loose pendants). The system dials through a Texecom autodialler to 8 family member and they can listen in and talk back to the customer. D
