Recommend a panel

Can anyone recommend a panel which will fit these requirements? Out of my depth.

* Allows access to system from the internet so user can arm, reset, view log etc from an internet "browser"

* Remote access by phone too, e.g. call into panel with phone and use touchtones to reset system, etc.

* Voice dialer which reports more than usual 1-4 inputs. They want something like "kitchen PIR triggered", "main power failure", "bell tamper". Way more than 4 messages.

I'm not aware of a dialer which has more than 4 inputs. I know the Galaxy has some software options but not sure of any panels which can be accesssed from the net. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

Ahem, a Galaxy with SMS will advise of the exact circuit, time and date etc etc, Galaxy gold enables remote connection and a *cough* Pyronix Vocalizer offers the remote reset facility with audio verification. Not exactly DIY but very plausible.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Hi, not sure about the internet thing. With the diallers, i'd recommend that if you need more than the give outputs use a second dialler. Gardtec diallers aren't bad.

As for the panel, with a dial in connection Gardtec 593, or the new 595, both will let you remote access & you can set authority levels for the customer so they don't mess up any programming.

If you fit an output expander card you will be able to link that for your dialler triggers. As for telling them which zone.... ummm that's a trick one.

A good up & comming comapny is MDT Micro DIgital Technologies in Liverpool, I haven't their number to hand..... directory enq will have it, if you speak to their tech support team and tell them what your after they may be able to help.

I can't speak for the rest of the guys no here but they do some quite decent equipment for the money it costs & I'd suggest giving them a call, they'll maybe be able to put you in the right direction. If not or you want to look at the Gardtec route I have the mobile number of the RMD who designs some their panels & he will most probably be able to offer advice.
