Doesnet the BT VP 1000 DIY wirles alarm let you do all that.

Yup, for £5 per month and 15p per dialout. (Although, this is - by default anyway - only in an alarm so fair enough I suppose). Also they have made a pretty simple product even MORE simple, imagine them at HQ, "OH MY GOD we cant trust the user to wire in a 9V AC supply, they mightget the wires the wrong way round" :w00t: so its been 'plugified' with all extra features and outputs removed!

Maybe someone with some rudimentry knowledge will one day set a few PCs up in an office somewhere and convert digi outputs to text messages and emails for a very reasonable price for people who dont want to pay for full monitored. Perhaps?

Stu.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Yeah, I think they like to check you out at least.

Na Brian, i can buy them no problem and i havent a clue who the Ademco rep is and would be pretty sure he/she doesnt know me!

I know Elvey Newcastle would never sell to non trade but not sure about other branches.

Can anyone recommend a panel which will fit these requirements?  Out of my depth.

* Allows access to system from the internet so user can arm, reset, view log etc from an internet "browser"

* Remote access by phone too, e.g. call into panel with phone and use touchtones to reset system, etc.

* Voice dialer which reports more than usual 1-4 inputs.  They want something like "kitchen PIR triggered", "main power failure", "bell tamper".  Way more than 4 messages.

I'm not aware of a dialer which has more than 4 inputs.  I know the Galaxy has some software options but not sure of any panels which can be accesssed from the net. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

John
