Guest in -need-of - help Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 7 years... can reset entry codes but engineer codes does not work .. i have reset the system.. i wonder if the installer reset and locked the engineer code? ...can it be found out?
Service Engineer Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Locked Engineer codes cannot be unlocked without the correct Boss Engineer code & Unlocking a locked Engineer code that has been lost is subject to returning the unit to the manufacturer who will impose a minimum charge. ........................................................ Possibly because its almost as cheap to buy a new panel, than ship it to them, get it reset and ship it back. ........................................................
