Guest Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Where did Gardtec come from..? 43919[/snapback] Just looked like a Gardtec, hence the ? after it. Could be wrong though, it was a bit of a guess. Panel's a XPC though is it not, or shall I just go away now?
j.paul Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 its an accord xpc bellbox Its a flashguard sounder (Xtravert) http://www.klaxonsignals.com/security_sounders_value.htm There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
Mavrick_001 Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Where did Gardtec come from..? Hi to all, Dave is right that's no Gardtec bellbox, & panel isn't Gardtec either!!! Umm someone got the beer goggles on obviously, or is it back to the electrical vs alarms again!!!! As for the poor guy having a go himself, follow the wiring that the others have given you. Failing that faulty bell probably!! all CCTV Intruder Access Control Tony Hughes, Proprietor, TRADE MEMBER

Service Engineer Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 So then to sum up: the top trigger is trigger + LEAVE UNUSED the next one down is trigger - GOES TO YOUR "?" supply + GOES TO BELL +12V supply - GOES TO 0V strobe + LEAVE UNUSED strobe - GOES TO PANEL STROBE tamper + LEAVE UNUSED tamper - GOES TO YOUR "T" ........................................................ Chris Teague Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 I would have tried Tamper R to "T" and not "S"? Service Engineer Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Hmm, he did say Tamper + & - on previous post.. But yeah agreed now. tamper R LEAVE UNUSEDtamper S GOES TO YOUR "T" But perhaps Tamper S = Tamper supply, in which case it needs a link from 0v And yeah Tamper R to your "T". ........................................................
