Hi,

I've been looking around to understand the difference between DSCs downloading software DSC2002 and DSC2002 SA. In vain. Anyone here with a good description and each versions field of application?

SA - files seem to relate to drivers, not the software itself..

I am not sure what panel versions you have in Sweden, but I guess they are pretty much same than here (in coldshire).

You should have :

DLS2002 Engine only

DLS2002 Intl drivers pack

DLS2002_SP2

*** SA - files seem to be some additional drivers.

I have both versions but don't want to make a test installation to see what comes out of it. Still have a pretty clean system installation on my laptop and don't want to risk ruin it.

I thought it could stand for System Administrator, but on the other hand; I thought that applied to the DLS2002 software as a whole (yes, DLS, not DSC).

A partner downloaded it from the DSC-site but couldn't find any info there either. Problem two is that you can only find the US driver pack there.

Ahh, obviously he went to the US/Can-site and instead for the international one ... Dang, new application equals fiddling around and having "fun" with new software needs to be postponed :(

Another stupid :P question from me would of course be "what could the difference be in a North American version vs an International"

Different country's have different stardards eg in the USA they are using Power 832 v2.4

in the UK this is now v2.82 ;)

There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
