Mavrick_001 Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Thanks to Nova for allowing freedom of speech, a human right as I do beleive!! It was intended to be offensive but to the point. Endless repeated forums over & over by the same individuals who are asking the same questions is nothing short of pointless, is our time not better spent answering the enquiry's of "decent" people with "real problems or enquiry's". You might have a dig about my spelling son, but knowing I'm at least half your age, with two companies, people working for me, and having held a commission makes you noboby to try & sl*g me off. I find it hard that your installation company hasn't answered your questions, I feel that rather than posting the same questions time & time again you might be better asking the people who are actually going to fit this for you. Afterall that would make more sense surely..... afterall it's not rocket science is it. Goodnight sweetheart goodnight!!! Dave (The Security Installer) My personal appoliges to you for any offence caused, but I think a valid point we all make here!! morph Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 You did make a valid point, although you could have done it in a less offensive way, as it contravened the forum rules. I think you will find that the spelling reference was not aimed at you, it was to do with some posts that were made previously. Colin.

(sorry Fair play Colin, I don't & completly respect your decision, as a fellow installer and member of the trade. I think we all know where I was comming from & I stand by the comments made, they are a genralisation of a particular type of customer which we all know exists only too well. Marsden, before signing any paperwork I'd give Adrian a call from Team Security, (I cover your area but we'll never see eye to eye!) Adrian knows bugger all about galaxy's but he'll do you a good system & a good deal I'm sure. CCTV Intruder Access Control Tony Hughes, Proprietor, TRADE MEMBER

norman Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Hi,I am to have a Galaxy 16+ fitted to my property and wondered if it still comes with a Mk3 keypad or whether it will come with a Mk7? It will, as mentioned previously come with a Mk7 Also what are the general features of the panel and finally what is the usual stand alone proximity reader used with the panel? Lots of features what do you require? It will take any prox reader, ask the installer for exact make etc. Thanks No problem. 45450[/snapback] Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

jb-eye Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Maverick_001@ Mar 25 2005, 02:36 PMI'm sure you've all been to the install where the customer thinks they know more than you. I'm also sure you've all been there working with someone watching you the whole job. DG, either, do your own sepcification on the whole job, and don't bother listening to the guy who fits it with his endless amount of experience. Draw him a diagram, lift the carpets and ask nicely to borrow his staple gun and tack the cable in the selected routes you already designed for the installation. Or give him a diagram mm perfect and leave him to it. For christ sake don't bore the poor guy to tears and don't ask stupid B***dy questions pretending to know what your on about!!!!! I'm suprised you get anyone to work for you making threats to sue people who don't forfill your needs, Make the guy a drink, show him where the kettle is and pee off out of his way and let him do his job, this means leaving the house!!!!!! You've got more posts than half the engineers on here!!! & your not even trade!!! I'm sure you've all been to the install where the customer thinks they know more than you.
