datadiffusion Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 I just bought my first item off e-bay (previously always outbid). 47799 Aren't we always? The first rule of ebay is... never bid - it just jacks up the price and lets everyone else know you are interested! Auction Sniper Using Auctionsniper is great - just set your max bid and forget it. Although this is what ebays proxy claims to do it simply results in the price being jacked up. By the bids being totally hidden until the last minute, its slightly more like a true auction. Stu. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Smart Electrics Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 I'm sure Smarty will correct me but Megastreams aren't quite skip fodder just yet... 47789 Yes your right Data, I don
Guest Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 It amazes me though that BT do not recover this type of kit when the service is terminated. 47806 Apparantly, they're clamping down on a bit of late, that's why I let them know about the NTE's of theirs but obviously they still can't be arsed, ho hum. Some clients I've dealt with have had kilostream lines for inter-office links. They've always been more reliable than DSL too. There are some clients that have services provided by someone else so they provide their own line for that particular service only. Some come on ISDN2e, some through PSTN, some through Kx. None come over DSL yet.
